3674. A POOR MAN'S HENRY RIFLE, #10892, made in 1865.  Considerable restoration on this famous old piece, brass all beat up but gun still in working condition.  THEY DIED HARD as is evident in looking at this old gun.  Believe it was a captured Indian used gun and they tried to destroy it, unsuccessfully as it has turned out.  Looks like they took a hatchet or tomahawk to the brass and when that did not kill it, they tried to batter it to death.  In spite of everything, it still has some of the original silver wash on the brass under carriage.  Now you can find all sorts of things wrong with this old gun, except for the price which is way below anything we've seen in recent years.  Here's a chance to fill that empty slot in your gun  collection.  Buy this one until a better one comes along. $12750.00.
